Data cabling services
- Ethernet cable installation: Cat5e, Cat6 and Cat6A drops to desks, printers, TVs and access points.
- Voice and data cabling: combined phone and network outlets for offices and VoIP systems.
- Commercial data cabling: new office build-outs, tenant fit-outs and office moves.
- Business cabling repairs: tracing, re-terminating and replacing damaged or dead network jacks.
- Home Ethernet installation: wired connections to home offices, TVs and gaming rooms for faster, steadier internet.
What does data cabling cost?
The price per drop is set after a site survey, because it depends on the number of drops, the length of each run, the cable type, and how easy the ceilings and walls are to work in. The onsite survey is billed at our standard labor rate of $75 per hour, with a 2-hour minimum ($150). If you go ahead with the project, the survey charge is added to the project's final invoice, so everything is on one invoice. After the survey you get a fixed written quote, so there are no surprises.
